From October 25th to November 5th in the city of Pueblo, Colorado, men and women boxers aged 17 and 18 will compete across all 20 weight categories. We will definitely witness spectacular battles of the future boxing superstars. I would like to congratulate USA Boxing as well as to express my gratitude. I am certain that Chair Tyson Lee and his team will do everything to stage a world class event for the boxers and boxing fans across the globe. WORLD BOXING team is also eager to ensure a high quality delivery.

Time For WORLDBOXING

Yesterday was a very fruitful Town Hall meeting with the WORLD BOXING family: our team and the representatives of the National Federations, who have already made decisions to save the Olympic dreams of their boxers. During almost two hours of productive online meeting, we discussed many important topics, including: ⏺️ The CAS decision about rejecting IBA's appeal; ⏺️ Our roadmap for future recognition as an International Federation, which will keep boxing at the heart of the Olympic Games; ⏺️ The achievements and future plans of the medical commission; ⏺️ Competition Rules, Competition Calendar, Transfer of certification for Technical Officials; ⏺️ The current World Boxing financial situation and our next steps in it; ⏺️ And many others. I want to thank everyone who was with us last night. This meeting gave me even more confidence that everyone in World Boxing has a very strong vision about the future of our sport. And this vision is based on our common goal to keep boxing in the Olympics together. #TimeForWORLDBOXING

We launched World Boxing one year ago ,which gave hope to everyone in our sport ...

On this day one year ago, the starting point for changes in Olympic-style boxing was officially set. We launched World Boxing, which gave hope to everyone in our sport for the future. The last 12 months have been very active and productive for World Boxing. Together with our great team and responsible National Federations, we hosted the Inaugural Congress, held World Boxing Cups in Cologne and Sheffield, approved the World Boxing Strategic Plan, Competition Rules, and Competition Calendar, and accomplished many other important tasks. I want to thank everyone who joined us on our mission to keep boxing at the heart of the Olympic Games. I truly believe that our biggest achievements are yet to come.

Boxing is a sport that excites and engages millions across the world. We all share a passion for boxing and agreed that it is important to support its development at every level, from grassroots and recreational, to the high performance Olympic style, and all the way to pro level. WBC is a prominent professional boxing governing body that recognizes the importance of boxing’s Olympic inclusion. World Boxing and England Boxing understand the importance of the opportunities that pro boxing offers for the boxers. Open and close cooperation is important between all governing bodies to ensure a bright future for the sport we love.
