Rocket sports are at the top of the list when it comes to increasing one's life expectancy. In a study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, more than 80,000 adults were followed over a nine-year period to compare the impact of different sports on a person's health. The people who regularly practiced rocket sports were 47% less likely to die earlier than people who were not physically active. This was almost 20 percent higher than swimming. Swimming came in second place with a 28 percent lower chance of a shorter life.
