Yesterday I was allowed to open the Academic Year together with Anke van Hal on Nyenrode Business University. I was asked to give a thought-provoking speech about the sustainable state of the world and what that could mean for Nyenrode. Interestingly, Nyenrode University was founded in 1946 by companies such as KLM, Philips, Unilever and Shell. The intention was that the University would contribute to the reconstruction of the Netherlands after the 2nd World War.

I have been training since the beginning of May at the National Training Centre INSEP of France 🇫🇷. In addition, it literally gives me a (topographical) threshold to get into my bubble. Society 4.0 and Realize Potential Goal 10: Co-sustaining communities.

I (Katie Janssen, initiator of Agenda 2029) recently attended the book presentation of Region 4.0: Guide for the development of regions in Society 4.0 by Bob de Wit and Roel Wolfert at Nyenrode Business University. This book presentation was under the playful leadership of Marlies Dekkers ✨ What is @society__4.0? A bottom-up movement to organize society decentrally and thus meet the needs of citizens at a regional level. For example, utilities such as energy, water and food. This is to increase the resilience of regions and thus also personal freedom. This guide offers concrete tools to arrive at such regions. RPG 10: Cooperative communities In this way, a nice connection with Agenda 2029 emerges in RPG (Realize Potential Goal) 10: Co-sustaining communities.
